Registration and networking is from 7:00 am – 8:00 am. Note…There will be food and coffee at the registration so come on out early and join us.
We will begin the program promptly at 8:00 am.
Where do you park your Aston Martin or Honda, whatever you drive?I have good news, parking is free! You can park in any Columbus State student or employee lot (meters will still be charged). Having said that if you arrive before the Summit starts you should have no problem finding a spot. If you decide to sleep in or watch that one extra episode of Rocky and Bullwinkle before you head out you will be competing with 30,000 students for parking. Take it from someone that has worked at Columbus State for six years avoid the rush and get there early.
You know that FREE parking thing I mentioned ~ To get that you will need to have a parking pass and display it on the dashboard of your car. Without that I can’t help you if you get a ticket. If you are pre-registered you will get an email with the parking pass but if you need to you can also download a parking pass by clicking here.
Make sure to park legally… sometimes we prefer the grassy hills or the end of rows that really aren’t spots but our police department – not so much.
Want Wi-Fi? Me too ~ Not a problem.
Each event program will contain a user name and password to access the wireless network. If for some reason you have problems connecting let them know at the registration table and they will assist you. Also, there are power outlets on the floor of the facility as well as the walls so you should be able to plug in.
Get Your Social Media On
Social Media is encouraged at the Ohio Growth Summit. The Twitter Hashtag is #OGS12. When you check in on FourSquare you can check in at “Ohio Growth Summit”. Lastly, please leave lots of likes and comments on our Facebook page. Don’t know what we are talking about, you will.
Finally, you know when I said the Ohio Growth Summit was over at 4:00, that’s not really true. Thanks to our friends at the Karcher Group we will be have an “Official” OGS Happy Hour immediately following the Summit. The Happy Hour will be at T Murray’s Bar & Kitchen, 560 S High St. Come hang with speakers and attendees for some casual networking.
